Installation
Need a pump installed? With Nott’s Rural & Domestic, you don’t have to worry about doing this yourself because our knowledgeable staff will do it for you.
Some installation jobs may seem simple. But in some situations, like assembling a pump system for a farm or swimming pool, having an expert on-site is important.
We aim to complete the installation between one to two weeks, factoring in the availability of the parts needed for the job. However, we do our best to arrange the best time that suits the client

No (however we will have an electrician on standby), you will need a licensed electrician and even people from the electrical provider to get power if lines have to be added.
If it’s only a small to medium job we can. For big jobs, we tend to put the customer onto one of our subcontractors who can do the job.
Most of our sprinklers have a minimum level on them of water they can put out, however the end result will depend on how much pressure is behind the water. If there is more pressure than just the minimum required pressure needed to operate that particular sprinkler, it can put out more water than stated. With less pressure, the sprinkler may put out less water or not perform as expected.
Minimum level of pressure and water required
Imperial and metric are two different classes of poly pipe. Imperial pipes usually come with a green stripe down the middle. They are a thin-walled pipe that is really only suited for small to medium irrigation purposes or where pressures on the pipe will be limited. Imperial pipe goes on I.D rating, so takes different fittings than that of metric.
Metric on the other hand is a fairly thick-walled pipe, designed to take on higher working pressures that may be used. Metric pipe is used for small to large-scale irrigation. Most newly-built homes will be using metric.
